To be eligible for citizenship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age requirement of 18 years;
  • Demonstrated good character;
  • Absence of a criminal record;
  • Capability and willingness to fulfill the necessary financial contribution.

Individuals interested in applying should engage with an Authorized Agent who will provide assistance in completing the required forms and gathering supporting documents.


  • Spouse of the main applicant;
  • Children under 18 years of age of the main applicant or the main applicant's spouse;
  • Children between 18 and 30 years of age, attending a recognized institution of higher learning, and financially supported by the main applicant or the main applicant's spouse
  • Unmarried daughter under 25 years of age, living with and fully supported by the main applicant or the main applicant's spouse;
  • Physically or mentally challenged children, aged 18 or older, substantially supported by the main applicant or the main applicant's spouse;
  • Parents or grandparents of the main applicant or the main applicant's spouse, aged 65 or above, substantially supported by the main applicant or the main applicant's spouse.

Economic Diversification Fund (EDF)

Applicants can make a significant contribution to the government's Economic Diversification Fund, which aids socio-economic initiatives in Dominica.

  • Main applicant: US$100,000
  • Main applicant and spouse: US$150,000
  • Main applicant and up to three dependants: US$175,000
  • Each additional dependant under 18: US$25,000
  • Each additional dependant aged 18 or over: US$50,000

Real Estate Investment Option

Through this option, applicants must invest in an Approved Project within the real estate sector. The property must be held for a minimum of three years.

Minimum investment: US$200,000

The following Government Fees apply:

  • Main applicant: US$25,000
  • Main applicant and up to three dependants: US$35,000
  • Main applicant and up to five dependants: US$50,000
  • Each additional dependant: US$25,000

The DominicaCitizenship by Investment application process for successful candidates involves seven primary stages, which are as follows:

  • Initial review and application preparation;
  • Submission of the citizenship application;
  • Processing of the application, including internal and external due diligence checks;
  • Provisional approval;
  • Fulfillment of requirements, which may include making a contribution to the Economic Diversification Fund, or real estate investment in an Approved Project;
  • Receipt of the Certificate of Registration;
  • Application for a passport.
