France has also been added to the countries in Europe that offer residence permits and, subsequently, the possibility of citizenship. France has begun offering a residence permit first, and then citizenship after 5 years, with a minimum investment of €300,000.
Vesta Global, which operates in international investment, residence permit, and citizenship consulting, has added residence permit programs for investors and entrepreneurs in France to its service network. Under the program, applicants who meet the eligible investment conditions and their families can obtain a residence permit in France; they can benefit from free movement within the Schengen Area, and investors who wish to live in France are granted the right to work. Investors who have actually lived in France for at least five years and meet the legal requirements can apply for citizenship.
Noting that investors' priority is no longer just to obtain a second residence card, Vesta Global Founding Partner Teuta Narazan, who is also a member of the French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Association, said: “What matters now is that their children can study in Europe, that they can take their businesses to the European market, that they can build an alternative where they can live in Europe if needed, and that they can invest in different countries. The France program stands out because it allows investment in one of Europe's largest economies while also offering free movement within the Schengen Area and the right to live and work in France.”
